During the past decade, MQG has become
Israel's largest and leading public petitioner to the High Court
of Justice and a significant moral voice for thousands of citizens.
In addition, MQG also takes legal action in other judiciary instances
and promotes its ideals through legislative initiatives; legal aid
to whistle-blowers free of charge; public demonstrations and petitions;
several publications, such as a monthly newsletter; lectures; a
yearly symposium concerning social issues; its internet site; and
the media.
MQG celebrates its birthday on May 15th every year, otherwise known
as Quality Government Day, by granting Quality Government Knight
Awards to a dozen guards of quality government from all sectors
of the Israeli society.
