Effective public pressure
directed by the movement, led to a government decision to
change the primary election process, the major cause of corruption
in the 2003-election race. The movement set up a protest tent
and invited the public to sign a petition against recent alleged
election bribery and corruption. The movements' representatives
also met with political leaders and suggested a new law initiative
in this area.
