Tens of millions of shekels of public funds intended for support of non-profit organizations were saved, following a petition of the Movement for Quality Government to the Supreme Court concerning irregularities in the financial management of state funds supporting the “El Hama'ayan” organization.
US Ambassdor in Israel visits the movemant

The US ambassador in Israel, Mr. Richard Jones paid a visit to the MQG's offices in Jerusalem for the first time. In
this opportunity, the ambassador expressed his deepest appreciation to the MQG's devotion to continuously fight corruption, being a destructive factor which should be totally extinct.
The ambassador exalted the MQG's well established organizational structure and was most impressed by the numerous petitions plead by the MQG to the Supreme Court of Justice.
He emphasized the need to reinforce democratic structures and principles as they're being harmed by corruption, yet are the only answer to expel corruption- which may damage democracy. Instructing civilians in the route to employ their rights to make a change to strengthen it is the essence of democracy. Thus he was most interested in the actions of the Academy for Quality Government which infiltrates responsibleness and transparency in young aged citizens, and in public sector workers, as well as in the "Empowering Arab Attorneys to Watchdog Corruption and Litigating to Enhance Proper and Ethical Governance in the Municipalities of the Arab Sector " project (see details below). According to the Ambassador, the MQG's successes in uproot corruption in the Arab sector may promote democratization processes in the whole Middle East. "Aspiring to Raise the ethical standards of public officials and instilling a culture of integrity in politics is a common factor which unite sectors and nation ", he said.

Integrity Award from Transparency International
The Movement for Quality Government in Israel is the 2005 "Integrity Award" winner for its contribution to the fight against corruption

The Movement for Quality Government in Israel has won the "Integrity Award" for the year 2005 along with Mr. Coulibaly of Senegal and Mr. Salman of Indonesia. The Award was given to them for their remarkable efforts and contributions to the fight against corruption in their countries. It was given by the "Transparency International" organization (TI), which is represented in Israel by SHVIL (TI Israel), in a formal ceremony in Berlin last Friday (11.11.05).
