Press Release: Dalia Itzik trip to france

The Movement for Quality Government in Israel appealed to The State Comptroller to examine the circumstances regarding the expenses beared by the state in the case of ex chairman or Knesset Dalia Itzik in France.

According to media announcements, the accommodation expenses of ex-chairman of Knesset Dalia Itzik's four nights trip to france, were 75,000 INS.

In it's letter to the State Comptoller the Movement states that According to media announcements, the accommodation expenses of ex-chairman of Knesset Dalia Itzik's four nights trip to france, amounted to 75,000 INS.

This is a huge sum and if indeed Itzik's accommodation expenses in a luxury hotel were beared by public monies it is extemely un reasonable.

Even considering the willingness to allow ex-chairman Itzik's to sleep in a respectable hotel, in a large and comfortable room that allows her to hold work meetings, there is no justification that the public fund should bear such a huge expense.

The Movement asks the State Comptroller to order an investigation of the circumstances regarding the expenses beared by the State in the case of ex-chairman's stay in France.

The Movements asks moreover to consider whether there is room to formulate clear guidelines that would prevent the recurrence of such cases in the future.
